no boundaries
I chose to start writing on tumblr due to the expectation for frequent, short-form posts that shed details in exchange for a quick fix. While long posts may arise, meeting or moderately exceeding lowered expectations has always been a chosen hobby of mine. It’s as though this site, with its emphasis on recycling the work of others, was created as a platform for people like myself to appear twice as important while doing half the work. If this site were a woman, I would either propose or impregnate it to assure it a place in my life for at least 18 years.
I can’t promise any particular content for this site, as it was created solely to push me to diversify the topics I wrote about and better personalize my style of writing (after spending 16 years in the educational system, my writing style was too institutionalized, with multisyllabic words and compound-complex sentences that read like an instruction manual. Manuel? Which is read and which is a Spaniard?). The only thing I have ever done well is meet deadlines. Hopefully the lack of necessity will still allow me to contribute often. As long as reader expectation are just high enough to require posting, I will be able to continue. Unfortunately, nobody will probably read this. I would call this a Catch-22, but I never read the book and would thus hate for people to bring it up in future conversation.
