Title: Teddy on his back, Penny in his back[ground]
Contemplating the subject of their dreams, I suppose that, while lying on his back, Teddy slips wistfully into an invented memory of a time when the backstroke was a viable alternative to the ever-popular “doggie-style” manner of swimming. Or perhaps he ponders the missionary position, curious what logistical benefits add to the carnal act, and why it remains all the rage among the bitches.

In short

For a writer, there are two kinds of writing. There's the kind that serves as an excercise to get the creative juices flowing and the kind that you get paid for. If this were a forum for the latter, that sentence wouldn't have ended with a preposition.
